3 years. I moved here from Chester County Pa and had been retired and traveling for 10 years, then met Joe at Compass Limo and started driving and love my job - How did you become a Chauffeur?
I had a friend in New Jersey who drove for the casinos and had been trying for years to recruit me saying I would be really good in this business. He was working at Compass Limos when I moved here and got me my job - What’s your approach to providing excellent customer service?
I like reaching out to my clients a day before to ask if they have any special requests and also confirm their information is correct on the reservation. I am always early, dress professionally have my route mapped out, and always have a good attitude - What steps do you take to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the vehicle?
Compass Limo has service professionals who detail the vehicles daily and have them all set up with ice and complimentary drinks along with our trip information. I always arrive early to inspect the vehicle and allow myself extra time for any traffic delays before pick-up - How do you ensure punctuality for scheduled pickups and drop-offs?
I review my work order, map out the time, and always allow myself plenty of time for unpredictable traffic situations. My track record is perfect, I have never been late for clients. - If someone wanted to become a Chauffeur, what advice would you give them?
I can honestly say I love my job, I never said that about my other careers Joe is truly the best boss I’ve ever had, we have a great team and we are appreciated and respected. - People always think Chauffeurs have great stories, do you have a great story you can share?
